Dr. Intaek HAN is a visiting research fellow at the Ilmin International Relations Institute (IIRI), Korea University. Dr. HAN was formerly president of the Jeju Peace Institute (JPI). An internationalist and a proponent of non-governmental diplomacy, Han focuses his studies on security cooperation, public diplomacy, and the role of dialogues in promoting international cooperation. In addition to the Jeju Forum, he helped organize the Korea-Middle East Cooperation Forum, an annual dialogue between leaders of South Korea and the Middle East, from 2011 to 2018, and wrote about international relations in the Middle East. Dr. HAN has consulted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Korea Foundation.
