Acting as an advisory member of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province International Exchange Support Committee, since 2021, he is a senior consultant providing startup and accelerator consulting and mentoring for university students and the ROK armed forces in preparation of starting a business. For 20 years he has served as the chairman of the judging panel for ‘ALLIANCE STUDENTS VENTURE FORUM,’ the largest startup competition in Asia. In order to promote mutual cooperation between Korea and the United States, he is carrying out an overseas expansion project for small businesses sponsored by local governments. In addition, as an ISO International Certified Auditor, he is actively engaged in activities to address the need for establishing a global standard system that is substantially helpful in ESG management of all organizations, including local governments, affiliated organizations, and companies to enable sustainable management conforming to importance of climate change measures recently being emphasized worldwide.
