Miyoung KIM is director of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the acting director of the Jeju Regional Innovation Platform. The Jeju Regional Innovation Platform establishes a regional innovation system through collaboration between local governments and universities, and creates a regional innovation ecosystem to cultivate local talent, find employment and start businesses, and improve settlement conditions through innovation at local universities.
As the deputy center director, she serves as a control tower for a cooperative system between local governments, universities, research institutes, and companies for shared growth between regions and universities, promoting sustainable Jeju development by fostering new industries in the future and fostering global talent.
