My name is Kazufumi NAGAO and I am Seoul Bureau Chief of Japanese news agency KYODO NEWS from November 2022.
I studied Korean language in Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), and an 1-year exchange student for Seoul National University. I started my career as a staff reporter of KYODO at Kobe bureau in 2003. After gaining experience at several local bureaus in Japan, I worked as a Seoul correspondent for the first time from 2014 to 2018.
I am enjoying my life in Korea by playing and watching baseball and visiting local cities.
