CHO Hyungsup, CEO of Jeju SemiConductor Corp., along with associates including Park Sungsik, CEO of Jeju Semiconductor Corp., founded the memory semiconductor fabless company, Jeju Semiconductor Corp., in April 2004. Overcoming initial challenges in funding and technology, he played a pivotal role in developing the company into a solid mid-sized enterprise. Before listing the company on KOSDAQ in 2005, he pursued the then-advanced concept of creating a workation-friendly workplace and moved the company to Jeju by persuading the employees. Since then, he has been working hard in various ways to establish the company as the leading export company of Jeju, through achievements such as the KOSDAQ listing and reaching $100 million in exports as a single enterprise in Jeju.
