Born on February 9, 1977, in South Korea, Hyoung Jin Lee received his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering in 2010 and is an expert in the field of aerospace propulsion and combustion. After receiving his Ph.D., he worked as a senior researcher at Guided Weapons Technology Research Center of LIG Nex1 in Korea, where he conducted research and development in the defense industry, including solid rocket motors and guided weapon systems. Since 2017, he has been a professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Inha University, where he conducts teaching and research in the field of aerospace propulsion and combustion. In particular, he is actively conducting research and development in the areas of liquid rocket engines for space launch vehicles, solid rocket motors for missile systems, and high-speed aero engine systems.
