Launcher Self-Reliance and the Role of Jeju in the NewSpace/Space Economy Era

Following the Russian-Ukrainian war and the trend of raising technological barriers in each country, a different economic paradigm is beginning, such as limiting the space launch market and changing the supply chain of raw materials. Along with this trend, Korea has been researching indigenous launch vehicles for its long-awaited independence in space technology, and the domestic space launch era has begun in earnest with the recent successful launch of the Nuri and test launches by domestic private companies.
In line with the rapidly changing space economy and technology development trends, we look at Jeju's role as a domestic private space hub and its preparations for the future.
