H.E. Mohammed Bensabri, Ambassador of Algeria accredited to the Republic of Korea since April 2022, is a career diplomat. He graduated from National School of Administration, Diplomatic branch and with a master in International Relations in Algiers. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the 80’s and served in Vietnam, China, France, Belgium and Peru. At Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, he exercised, among other functions, as Counselor in the minister cabinet, Director of cooperation with European and Euro-Mediterranean Institutions, Director of International Economic and Financial Affairs, and Director General of Consular Affairs and National Community abroad. During his career, he participated at high level international, regional conferences (Euro med Summit and ministerial level, South America, Arab countries summit, 5+5 West-Mediterranean ministerial meetings, Mediterranean dialogue with NATO, IMF and World Bank reunions, African Diaspora affairs etc.) and bilateral high level meetings.
