Biography

H.E. Chafik Rachadi is Ambassador of Morocco to Korea since November 2016. He graduated from the University of Montreal, Canada with a BA in Business Administration degree, received a Master\'s degree in International Management from INSEAD France, a Master\'s degree in Finance and Business Management Control from the University of Orléans, and a PhD in Private Law from the University of Perpignan, France. Since 1989, he has chaired an industrial company and from 2002 he was elected as a Member of Parliament for three consecutive terms till 2016; he served as a Vice-President of the Moroccan Parliament. From 2003 to 2015 he served as President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services for 4 consecutive terms, and from 2009 to 2011 he served as the First Vice-President of the Arab Labor Organization(ALO). In October 2016, he was accredited by His Majesty the King of Morocco as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. In 2018, he was elected as the President of the Francophonie Council in Korea and in June 2022, he became Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Seoul and Vice-President of Korea-Arab Society(KAS).
