Dr. Eun Namkung is currently a research professor in the Institute of Construction & Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Namkung is a global expert in water quality management, water supply & wastewater treatment, and international relations in water sector.
His past career includes Director General of Water Supply and Sewerage Works at Ministry of Environment (MOE) and served as the president of Korea Academy of Environmental Science (KAES). Dr. Namkung is currently the president of Korean Society of Ultrapure Water and vice president of Korea Water Forum(KWF). He was awarded a Public Service Medal (Dongbaek-jang) for his outstanding public service in the area of water policy and management, and environmental technology development in Korea.
