Biography

Dr. Yongwoo Na is a Research Fellow of Humanitarianism and Cooperation Research Division at the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU). Dr. Na majors in Political Science, especially in International Relations and Energy Politics. Recently, he has been focusing on inter-Korean exchange and cooperation, climate change and Green Détente. He is also a member of the Policy Advisory Committee and the Unification Education Committee at the Ministry of Unification. His recent writings include Plans and Strategies for Inter-Korean Border Region Cooperation Based on the Evaluation of Foreign Cases (Korean, 2022), Necessity and Progress Directions for Establishment of the South-North Korean Disaster Co-management System (Korean, 2021), Carbon Neutrality and Green New Deal (Korean, 2021), Conditions and Tasks for Inter-Korean Health and Medical Cooperation in the COVID-19 era (Korean, 2021), and Peace and International Politics of the Korean Peninsula (Korean, 2018).
