Discussions on maritime security among major countries in the international community are actively underway. International interest in cooperation in the shipbuilding and maritime transport sectors are growing and at the recent G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, the “G7 Foreign Ministers’ Declaration on Maritime Security and Prosperity” was adopted. This session aims to explore ways to establish a stable maritime security order by examining current global maritime security environment and the responses of individual countries.
