Climate crisis is one of the environmental problems with which humans are faced today, but is placed at the top in terms of its impact on humans and nature.
Energy is the core area related to achieving carbon-neutrality. Therefore, all socio-economic sectors related to energy use such as land use, building, transportation, green space, and waste, etc. are the policy targets for achieving carbon neutrality.
In this context, this session will run a dialogue with world experts on the major socio-economic sectors to be covered in achieving carbon-neutrality and what policies would be efficient and effective for each sector to be carbon-neutral.
In addition, it will be examined how the policies drawn from the dialogue to utilize for establishing the projects such as <The 1st Framework Plan on Jeju Special Self-Governing Province's Carbon-Neutrality and Green Growth>, <2030 Carbon-zero Island, Jeju>, and <2040 Plastic-zero Island, Jeju>, etc., all of which are currently being romoted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
