In a sense that Asia is a region with a wide spectrum of cultures, ethnic compositions, and economic and political systems, social integration and inclusion based on understanding various stakeholders is the key priority in Asia’s sustainable peace and prosperity. In this regard, this session aims to focus on hatred and discrimination on the basis of gender, age, race, disability, or sexual orientation in order to achieve social integration and inclusion in Asia. Also, the session is designed to highlight the role of the governments and the civil societies as well as cooperation measures to address the issues of hatred and discrimination for social integration and the protection of human rights of the social minorities in Asia.
