Asia, comprising East Asia, the Middle East, and Central Asia, is receiving much attention for its dynamic economic growth in the 21st century. However, Asia’s dynamics are not only found in its economic development. The Western-centric culture that swept the world in the 20th century is now looking for its alternative in Asia. Finding ways to make the rising “Cultures” in Asia accept and reconcile with each other is one of the leading topics of interest in the survival of humanities. The purpose of this session is to seek ways for culture to act as a mechanism for reconciliation in Asia, where terror, taking sides, conflicts, and confrontations in the name of religion and nationalism most frequently occur.
