Biography
Dr. Mee Young Park obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2003. She joined the faculty of Cheju Halla University in 2000. She led the development and implementation of Problem-Based Learning curricula in health and nursing education until she moved back to Australia in 2006. From June 2008 to July 2015, Dr. Park was the Director of Clinical Simulation and International Coordinator for the School of Health Sciences at RMIT University in Melbourne. In November 2011, she was awarded the RMIT Teaching and Research Award for her endeavor to innovate curriculums using the Practice-Based Simulation Model (PBSM) in nursing education. Dr. Park is the Halla Newcastle PBL Education Research Center Director at Cheju Halla University. She is a member of the Korean Nurses Association, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council, the International Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and the Korean Academy of Nursing Sciences.
