The Media Talk Show is a new platform for young readers and special guests to engage in in-depth conversations on issues highlighted in today’s newspapers. The event also presents performances by some of Korea’s hottest musicians. This year, the Series marks its second season, following last year’s launch to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the JoongAng Ilbo’s founding. The Media Talk Show is being held on Jeju Island for the first time to commemorate the 11th Jeju Forum. Won Heeryong, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, is the special guest. Governor Won will participate in discussions on social issues that have grabbed the headlines. This will be an opportunity to seek solutions to the concerns faced by the younger generations of Korea and Asia. A popular musician and Jeju resident, Lee Jung, will give a special performance to stay true to the event's title.
