Biography
Chung Kang-Hyun is a reporter at the JoongAng Ilbo. He majored in Korean Language & Literature and Mass Communications at Sogang University in Seoul. He obtained his master’s degree in journalism from the School of Communication at the same university. After he joined the JoongAng Ilbo in 2004, he worked as a reporter with the Social Affairs Desk, the Politics Desk, and the Arts and Culture Desk. He is the head of the Youth Report Team and the Issue Team for the Social Affairs Desk. Chung also works as the director and moderator of the JoongAng Ilbo’s Newspaper Concert Series. He has published two essays and a short story, including The Moment I Hear You(2013), I’m Glad I Love You(2013), and The Goodbye I Couldn’t Say(2014).
