Marek REPOVSKÝ has been serving as Ambassador of Slovak Republic to the ROK since April 2024. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Director of the Department for Asia, Pacific and Latin America at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, following earlier assignments including Head of the East Asia and Pacific Unit. He also served in Brussels with the European External Action Service, the Permanent Representation of Slovakia to the European, and the Mission of Slovakia to NATO, gaining extensive experience in European affairs and international security. From 2015 to 2019, he was posted to Seoul as First Political Counsellor at the Delegation of the European. Ambassador REPOVSKÝ holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Informatics from the Technical University of Košice and speaks Slovak, Czech, English, French and Russian.
