Madam Ninh has been a university lecturer, career diplomat and elected official: Ambassador of Viet Nam to the European and Belgium (2000-2003), Vice-Chair, Foreign Affairs Committee, National Assembly of Viet Nam (2003-2007).
Today, in her capacity as President, Ho Chi Minh City Peace and Development Foundation, she continues to promote Viet Nam’s sustainable development, empowerment of women and youth, Viet Nam’s more effective international integration, enhanced engagement with the Vietnamese diaspora-and nation branding.
Through her frequent interaction with the public, especially women, youth, and the media, she is known as one of the public figures with a meaningful voice in Viet Nam.
She holds an Honorary Doctorate in Social Sciences from the Royal Melbourne Institute of
Technology (RMIT) (2017). She is currently a patron for Global Viet Women and VK Nu.
