Currently serving as Ambassador of Estonia to the Republic of Korea, Tanel SEPP is a senior diplomat and cyber policy expert with extensive experience in international security, cyber diplomacy, and E.U./NATO cooperation. Prior to his current role, he served as Ambassador-at-Large for Cyber Diplomacy and Director General of the Cyber Diplomacy Department at the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he led international initiatives on cyber norms, capacity building, and multilateral cooperation. He also held senior positions at the Estonian Ministry of Defence, contributing to Estonia’s cyber policy strategy and international cyber defence coordination. Throughout his diplomatic career, he has served in Washington, D.C., Kabul, Brussels, Addis Ababa, and Tallinn, engaging in security policy, crisis management, and international development cooperation.
