Biography

Aida ISMAILOVA is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea, a position she has held since 2022. Her extensive career is deeply rooted in Kyrgyz Korean relations, beginning with a diploma in Korean Economy from K. Karasayev Bishkek Humanities University in 1999. She transitioned from early roles as a teacher and interpreter for various Korean companies, such as "Venture C&C Plaza" and PARK & OPC, into high-level leadership. From 2011 to 2015, she served as General Director of "Silk Road Services" LLC before entering politics. As a member of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) from 2015 to 2020, she focused on social issues, education, and health, while also leading the "Kyrgyz Republic–Republic Korea" Parliamentary Friendship Group. Her executive experience includes serving as Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, appointed in April 2020. Her contributions have been recognized with the Government’s "Ardak" Honorary Diploma and the Ministry of Internal Affairs' "Datka ayim" medal.
