약력
박재경 심의관은 외교부 소속 공무원으로 현재 신남방정책특별위원회에 파견 근무 중이다. 1994년 외교부에 입부하여, 유럽과 미국 관련 부서에서 일하였다. 2008년부터 2011년까지는 외교부 동남아과 서기관으로 그리고 아세안협력과 과장으로 근무하였으며, 이 시기에 2009년 제주도 개최 한-아세안 특별정상회의를 준비하였고, 한-아세안 센터 설립 과정에도 참여하였다. 2013-17년 간에는 주미얀마 대사관, 주인도네시아 대사관에서 근무했다. 그는 서울대학교 영문학과를 졸업하고, 미국 보스턴 플레처 국제관계대학원에서 석사 학위를 취득하였다. 2012년에는 미국 워싱턴 국제전략안보연구소(CSIS)에서 방문연구원을 지냈다.
Mr. PARK Jae-kyung is a Korean diplomat by profession and currently working for the Presidential Committee on New Southern Policy as Policy Coordinator. He served as Deputy Director for Southeast Asia Division and as Director for ASEAN Cooperation Division at Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 2008 and 2011. He also served at Korean Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar and in Jakarta, Indonesia between 20013 and 2017. He had his fellowship with the Office of the Korea Chair at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington D.C. in 2012. He received his BA from the English Department at Seoul National University (Seoul, Korea), and his MA in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School at Tufts University (Boston, US).
