동아시아 지역 평화를 위한 한중일의 가교 역할 - 한중일 3국 협력 20주년 기념

Since it officially launched on the occasion of the ASEAN+3 Summit in 1999, trilateral cooperation among China, Japan, and the ROK has gradually proven itself critical for the regional peace and prosperity in East Asia.
While there is a greater call for regional cooperation today, such cooperation efforts have also been matched by conflicts and challenges in terms of differing geo-political and geo-economic strategies. The three countries have fostered competitive relations under the respective national policies, namely the Belt and Road Initiative of China, the Open and Free Indo-Pacific of Japan, and the New Economic Map of the ROK.
At the present juncture of rising tensions in Northeast Asia, this session will look at the long-term visions of CJK in the geo-political and geo-economic strategic aspects, and search for commonalities among the three countries. The session also intends to revisit the meaning of trilateral cooperation in celebration of its 20th anniversary, and demonstrate an effective path for the three countries to achieve greater common good and peace in the region.
1999년 아세안+3 정상회의 공식 출범 이래 한중일 3 국 협력은 동아시아 지역 평화와 번영을 위해 필수불 가결한 과정임을 점진적으로 증명해왔다. 오늘날 지역 공동체들에게 더 많은 협력이 요구되고 있는 반면, 동 시에 이러한 협력을 위한 노력은 국가 간 상이한 지정 학적, 지경학적 전략 추구로 인해 도전받기도 한다. 3 국은 각각 한국의 ‘한반도 신경제지도’, ‘중국의 일대일 로 이니셔티브’, 일본의 ‘자유롭고 개방적인 인도-태평 양 전략’ 하에 경쟁 구도를 조성해왔다.
이 세션에서는 동북아 내 긴장감이 높아져가고 있는 현시점에서 한중일의 장기적 비전을 지정학적, 지경학 적 전략 측면에서 살펴보고, 3국 간 공통분모를 찾고 자 한다. 더 나아가, 올해 20주년을 맞이하는 3국 협력 의 의미와 한중일이 앞으로도 공동 이익과 지역 평화 를 효과적으로 증진시켜 갈 수 있는 방법에 대해 논의 해보고자 한다.
