After reviewing the risk posed by climate change and natural disaster as a matter of fact, the session will evaluate the rescue system and response mechanism. It will also discuss the impact of and response to the earthquake in Japan. It will also discuss the emergency response team organized by NEMA (the National Emergency Management Agency) immediately after the earthquake in Japan.
- Is it necessary to make an earthquake-resistant design mandatory for all new buildings?
- What is the government’s response to concerns about the earthquake, the tsunami, and the resulting radioactivity?
- Koreans’‘insensitivity’to safety and their awareness of the risk of ss to natural disasters.
- A guideline for coping with various types of natural disaster, including nuclear accident, earthquake, and tsunami.
- The cooperation mechanism for rescue agencies in a disaster situation, the civilian response, and the public communication and response system.
일본 대지진을 통해 현실화된 기후변화와 대재앙의 현황을 살펴보고 우리나라의 재난체계와 구체적인 대응방안을 찾아봅니다. 일본에서 발생된 지진이 국내에 미치는 영향과 대책에 대해서도 논의해 봅니다. 일본 대지진 발생 직후 소방방재청이 구성한 지진긴급대응팀의 활동과 향후 대책, 전략적 방향에 대해서도 토론합니다.
- 일본 대지진을 볼 때, 우리나라도 모든 신축건물에 대해 내진설계 의무화를 할 필요가 있는가?
