Biography
Keeho Yang graduated from Yonsei University’s College of Social Sciences and received his doctoral degree in political science from Keio University in Japan. He is currently a professor at Sungkonghoe University in the Department of Japanese Studies, and serves as a policy advisory committee member in the Office of National Security at the Blue House. He was a visiting professor at the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute at Duke University.
He also actively contributes to both Korean and international media outlets on the topic of South Korea-Japan relations. His major publications and articles include and “How should South Korea view Japan? History, Issues, and Strategy” (EAF Policy Debates, Jan. 16th, 2018), 50 years of Normalization of Relations between South Korea and Japan and South Korea-Japan Relations (2016), and “From South Korea-Japan Conflict to International Issue- Analysis and Implications of the Spreading Process of the Comfort Women Issue” (2015).
