Dr. Youngeal, LEE obtained all of his degrees in Nuclear Engineering, most recently his Ph.D. from KAIST in 2001. Dr. LEE worked at the Korea Electric Power Research Institute (KEPRI) from 1996 to 2009, and she has ample research experience regarding the nuclear energy policy. She moved to the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety in 2010 and has served in various positions at KINS, contributing to the promotion and strengthening of nuclear safety regulation. She worked on the nuclear safety regulatory policy and project management of Wolsung Nuclear Power Plant. Subsequently, Dr. LEE has taken the role of Manager of the International Cooperation Department since 2015. From 2014, she has been a member of the board of trustees of the Korean Nuclear Society(KNS). At the international level, Dr. LEE was a member of the Global Nuclear Safety and Security Network (GNSSN) Steering Committee affiliated with the IAEA from 2015.
