Hideaki Ishibashi is a senior staff writer at the Sendai General Bureau of the Asahi newspaper company. He was born in 1964 in Fukuoka and started his work in 1986. Since then, he had acted as a journalist of the social department in the company in Tokyo and Osaka and had also been part of the editorial committee. From 2013, he has been based in Sendai focusing on the revival of the stricken area by the earthquake occurred in 2011 in the East Japan. In the 1990s, when he spent most of the time in Osaka, he covered life stories of the Korean-Japanese in Ikuno-ku in the city. Some of the writings reflected his interests in the Jeju 4.3. He also wrote articles on the Korea-Japan relations including the 2002 World Cup.


이시바시 히데키 아사히신문 센다이지부 선임기자이며 편집위원이다. 1964년 후쿠오카현 출생으로 1986년에 아사히신문사에 입사하여 도쿄 본사 사회부 기자, 오사카 본사 사회부 기자, 논설위원 등을 지낸 뒤, 2013년부터 센다이에 주재하고 있다. 2011년에 발생한 동일본 대지진의 재해지에서 복구 상황을 중심으로 취재를 계속하고 있으며 오사카에 근무했었던 1990년대에는 오사카시 이쿠노구에 거주하는 재일 동포를 취재하였다. 그 중 제주4•3사건에 대해서 관심을 갖고 몇 가지 특집 기사를 쓰기도 하였다. 2002년 축구 한일월드컵을 담당하는 등 한일 관계에 대한 기사를 작성하였다.
