Sang-Bum Cho, director of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Human Resource Development Institute, majored in Public Administration at Hanyang University and received a master’s degree in Public Administration from Colorado State University in the United States. He has worked as the head of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Human Resource Development Institute since the beginning of the year 2018, after completing long-term courses for a director at the Local Government Officials Development Institute. Formerly, he worked as the deputy mayor of Jeju City. He also served as the head of the Special Self-Government System Promotion Committee, the Planning and Coordination Office, the Budget Planning Office, and the Division of Self-Governance of Jeju Provincial Office. He made a great contribution to laying the groundwork for the establishment of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province when serving as manager of the Special Self-Government System Promotion Committee.
