Ku-hyun Jung was born in 1947. He was educated at Seoul National University (BA) and the University of Michigan (Ph.D.). He taught Business Management at Yonsei University (1978-2003). During his time at Yonsei, he served as Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration and College of Business and Economics (1997-2002), Visiting Professor at KAIST College of Business (2011-2017), a Board Member of Community Chest of Korea, President of Korean Academy of International Business, and Founding President of Korean Association of Non-Profit Organization Research. (2001-2003), President of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration (2004-2005), President of Samsung Economic Research Institute (2003-2008). Currently, he serves as an Executive Advisor to the Samsung Economic Research Institute, an International Board Member of United Way International, and a Board Member of Korea Research Foundation, and President of the Korean Association of Business Education Accreditation
