Ho-ryong Lee is Chief of North Korean Military Studies, Research Fellow in the Center for Security Strategy at the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA). She handles various security issues especially focused on North Koreasuch as nuclear capability, military threat analysis, two Korea’s military negotiation strategy, inter-Korean relations, and US-North Korea relations. Dr. Lee has a Doctoral degree (2001) in political science from Korea University. She has been a central committee member of the National Unification Advisory Council since 2012.


이호령 연구위원은 2004년 한국국방연구원 안보전략연구센터에 입사한 이래 현재 북한연구실장을 역임하고 있으며, 2012년부터 현재까지 민주평통 상임위원으로도 활동하고 있다. 2001년 고려대학교에서 국제정치학 박사학위 취득 후, 북한 핵문제, 남북관계, 북한 위협, 북한 군사 등 다양한 주제에 대해 많은 논문을 출간 및 발표해왔고, 언론기고와 방송활동도 활발히 해오고 있다.
