Jeffrey B. Straubel, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Tesla Moters, is one of the co-founders of the company. He oversees the technical and engineering design of the vehicles and has responsibility for new technology evaluation and R&D, etc. Before establishing Tesla, Straubel worked for Rosen Motors as an engineer and later became the CTO and co-founder of Volacom Inc. Straubel holds master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Stanford University.
