From September 2014 to April 2018, Il Yong Kim served as the head of Seoul Headquarters and the head of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Kim was a permanent member of the Federation of Korean Industries from February 2010 to February 2014 and promoted overseas cooperation projects. Kim served as a member of the Social Culture and Policy Committee of the National Council for National Reconciliation and Cooperation from June 2009 to July 2014. Kim served as an advisor to the Republic of Korea National Assembly from November 2005 to May 2012. The paper is called “Counter Hegemony – The Case of South Korea.”
