PRESIDENT UENG JINN-PYNG is the current President of the National Penghu University of Science and Technology (NPU). His specialization lies in fish neurophysiology, ecology and shellfish reproduction. He majored in fisheries science and obtained his B.S. from the National Taiwan Ocean University. He went on to get his M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Biology and Fisheries Science at the same university. He has served as the Dean of College of Marine Resources and Engineering, the Director of Cage Culture Industry Technology Research and Development Center, as well as the Dean of Student Affairs among other distinguished positions in the NPU.

옹진핑(翁進坪) 총장은 현 대만 국립팽호과기대 총장이다. 옹 총장의 전문 분야는 물고기 신경 생리학, 생태학 및 조개 생식에 있다. 대만 국립대탄해양대학에서 수산과학을 전공하여 학사를 받았고 동 대학교에서 환경생물학 석사, 박사학위를 받았다. 국립팽호과기대에서 해양 자원 공학 대학 학장, 동물 우리 문화 산업 기술 연구 개발 센터 책임자, 및 학생처장등을 역임한 바 있다.
