Biography

Ambassador Enna Park joined the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in 1985 and currently serves as Ambassador for Public Diplomacy (Deputy Minister). She received her M.A. degree in International Relations from Columbia University in 1989, where she returned as a Visiting Fellow in 2010. Amb. Park has served at the Korean Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York twice (1995, 2006) and held diplomatic posts in China, India, and the United States. She has served as Director of Planning and Research Division at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS), Director of Regional Cooperation Division at the Multilateral Trade Bureau, and Director-General for Development Cooperation. Amb. Park’s expertise spans a wide range of political and economic issues, as well as work advocating for human rights and women’s empowerment at the U.N. Recently, she is promoting Korean charm throughout the world and making efforts to gain understanding and support from foreign publics on Korean diplomatic policies.


박은하 공공외교대사는 1985년 외교부에 입부하였다. 박 대사는 1989년 미국 콜롬비아 대학에서 국제관계학 석사 학위를 취득하였고 2010년에는 동 대학에 방문학자로 근무하였다. 박 대사는 주유엔대표부에서 두번(1995년, 2006년) 근무하였고, 중국, 인도, 미국에서도 근무하였다. 박 대사는 외교부에서 기획조사과장, 지역협력과장, 개발협력국장을 역임하였고 현재는 공공외교대사로서 한국의 매력을 세계에 알리고 한국의 외교정책에 대한 외국 국민들의 이해와 지지를 얻기 위해 노력하고 있다.
