Biography
Tae-youn Kim was born on May 19, 1961, on Jeju Island. He had researched Jeju's environmental policies since 1997, when the Jeju Research Institute was established. His most recent research has focused on designating the Jeju National Park for an expansion designation for business. The purpose of the study is to appoint Orum and Gotjawal as the national park, including the area around Mt. Halla national park.
It was alreadyed for President Moon Jae-in’s Jeju pledge, and the development of the environment is accomplishing a feasibility study for appointing a national park. With the value of national parks, the goal is to contribute to regional development and income creation while systematically preserving nature. He dedicates himself to informing the world of the natural environment value of Jeju through various studies that aim to improve the value of the natural environmental assets that it has.
