Kwak Jin-gyu has been dedicated to Jeju Free International Development Center(JDC) as an original member since 2002, he hold the post of various position such as public relations, sales, planning and coordination during his commitment in JDC. Currently, as a head of future business & investment deputy, he is managing attracting investment, smart city and waste recycling cluster development to deal with 4th industrial revolution and Jeju’s environmental preservation.

곽진규는 1967년 서울 출생으로 경희대 졸업 후 일본 니혼대(Nihon Univ.)에서 MBA를 취득하고 2002년 JDC의 창립멤버로 입사하여, 홍보실장, 영업처장, 기획조정실장 등을 역임한 바 있다. 현재는 기관의 미래사업과 투자유치 부문의 책임자로 스마트시티 실증단지 조성 및 폐기물 자원화 단지 조성사업 등을 기획하고 있다.
곽진규는 이러한 프로젝트를 실현시키는 책임자로서, 4차산업혁명 시대의 대응 및 제주의 환경가치 증진과 환경문제 해결, 나아가 제주의 핵심적인 미래 인프라를 조기에 구축하여, 제주를 미래지향적 국제도시로 만드는 데에 일조하고 있다.
