Biography

Taeyong Chung was born in 1963 in Seoul, Korea. He holds a bachelor's degree from Seoul National University, as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan and a doctoral degree from Harvard University. He worked on several design projects related to the campus master plan and urban design at Junglim Architecture. He has served as a professor at Konkuk University's Graduate School of Architecture since 2003. He won 1st prize at the design competition of Ilsan China Town. He also published several papers on public facilities of urban renewal, including <A Study on the Sustainable Characteristics of the London City Hall>(2011) and <A Study on the Architectural Publicness in Hague City Hall>(2010).
