Biography
Cho Kyung-tae is a six-term Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, representing Saha-gu B, Busan, as a Member of the People Power Party. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Pusan National University and has served continuously in the National Assembly from the 17th to the 22nd term. He previously served as Chair of the National Assembly’s Trade, Industry, Energy, SMEs and Startups Committee, Chair of the Strategy and Finance Committee, Chair of the People Power Party’s Busan Metropolitan City Chapter, and Supreme Council Member of the United Future Party. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on economic affairs, industrial policy, and regional development. He currently serves as a Member of the Agriculture, Food, Rural Affairs, Oceans and Fisheries Committee and as Chairman of the ROK-U.S. Parliamentary Union, contributing to stronger parliamentary diplomacy and cooperation between Korea and the United States.
