Biography
Chairman Kim Jin Pyo is a Former Economic Bureaucrat who served as the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. In government, he held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Deputy Prime Minister for Education, and was elected to the National Assembly for five consecutive terms. He also served as Chair of the State Affairs Planning Advisory Committee under President Moon Jae-in. He retired from politics at the end of May 2024, after serving as Speaker of the 21st National Assembly. Following his retirement, he established the Global Innovation Studies, through which he seeks solutions to major social issues such as economic cooperation with key countries and addressing the low birthrate crisis, while also leading various aid initiatives for developing countries.
