Biography
Dr. Piya KERDLAP is a sustainability scientist and international development professional. He has 10 years of experience in life cycle assessment, financial modeling, and circular economy in the Asia-Pacific region and East Africa. He is a Board Member of Creative Migration, an international arts organization based in Bangkok and Los Angeles that brings together cultural and climate diplomacy, focusing on collaborative community building through intersectional practices. Dr. Piya KERDLAP is also the Deputy Director of Bangkok 1899, Creative Migration’s cultural & civic hub that houses an International Artist residency program. Bangkok 1899 is one of the campuses of the Ford Community Center, which embraces sustainable living practices and integrates with the local Nang Loeng Community.
Dr. Piya KERDLAP is also the Founder and Managing Director of PXP Sustainability, an international consultancy that conducts research and analysis and organizes workshops to assist businesses, non-profit organizations, and development finance institutions measure sustainability and create insights to support decision-making, planning, and advocacy. He is an alumnus of the Fulbright U.S. program. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the National University of Singapore.
