CHUN Chae Sung is a Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Seoul National University. He is also a Director of National Security Center of East Asian Institute (EAI). He was the President of the Korean Association of International Studies in 2021, a Director of Center for International Studies at Seoul National University, and a Vice President of the Institute of Peace and Unification Studies, Seoul National University. He was a Visiting Professor at Keio University in Tokyo from 2017-2018, and 2010-2011. He is currently a Member of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Unification, Ministry of Defense, ROK Army and Navy.
