Currently serving as the Director General of the Bureau of Culture, Sports and Education at Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, she leads policies that promote sustainable cultural development and strengthen Jeju’s creative ecosystem based on the island’s unique cultural heritage and creative assets.
Throughout her public service career, she has held several key leadership positions within the Jeju provincial government, including Director of the Airport Expansion Support Division, President of the Public Policy Training Institute, Youth Policy Director at the Office of Planning and Coordination, and Director for Integrity and Communication Innovation Policy.
Drawing on extensive experience in public innovation, youth policy, regional development, and large-scale public projects, she has consistently emphasized the role of culture as a driver of future regional competitiveness. Her current work focuses on fostering an integrated cultural industry ecosystem that connects arts, tourism, education, and technology while expanding collaboration among local artists, young creators, and international cultural organizations.
