LEE is a professor in the Department of Political Science, Director of Sungkyun Institute of China Studies(SICS) in Sungkyunkwan University. And he is working at appointed professor and senior researcher of Jilin University, Fudan University, Capital Normal University. Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Tongji University in China. He taught and studied at Jilin Academy of Social Science, Ocean University of China, Peking University, University of Washington(Seattle), and Nagoya University(in Japan) as a inviting professor and chair-professor. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He was consecutively occupied the Chair of the 'Association of Modern China Studies', a board member of KAPS(The Korean Political Science Association), KAIS(The Korean Association of International Studies), KCFA(Korea-China Friendship Association) etc. LEE had also the Coordinator of Korea-China Strategic Dialogue(governmental level) during 2004-2007 and a columnist including JoongAng Daily, Kookmin Daily and CBS. Now Lee is a Advisory Committee of KBS, Northeast Asian History Foundation, Seoul Metropolitan Government, National Assembly etc. And He is a editorial committee member of 'Contemporary Korea' (Chinese Academy of Social Science) and 'China's Strategy Report(Chinese Communist Central Party School), Northeast Asia Forum(Jilin University) in China.
