Mr. KANG Myong Il is currently Senior Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS) at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA). He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1994 and has served as Consul-General of the Korean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Minister for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan. His areas of interest include Public International Law, the Law of the Sea, Air Law, and Space Law.
