Biography
LIM Kyung Han is a national security expert with specialties in maritime security issues and a Professor of the Republic of Korea Naval Academy. He is an active Korean Navy Captain. His area of interest includes Great Power Politics, U.S. Foreign Policy, Maritime Security, Geopolitics, East Asia Security and Alliance. Professor LIM received his Ph. D. from the GSIS (Graduate School of International Studies) Seoul National University (2012), M.A. from Korea Development Institute School (2005) and his B.A. from ROK Naval Academy (1999). His recent publications include “The New Cold War and the U.S.-China Maritime Security Competition in the Indo-Pacific (2025)”; “The Indo-Pacific Strategy of a Second Trump Administration and its Implications: Focusing on ROK-U.S. Shipbuilding Cooperation (2025)” and others.
