KIM Jeong Tae is the CEO of Merry Year Social Compnay (MYSC), Asia's largest early-stage accelerator and impact investment firm. Since its establishment in 2011, MYSC has invested in 300 companies, supporting entrepreneurs who generate concrete social and environmental impact through investment and acceleration. To overcome the limitations of traditional financial investment, the firm applies a blended financing approach that combines equity investment, loans, and grants. Through its startup ecosystem creation strategy, MYSC approaches investments in previously overlooked industrial sectors, social enterprises, and local startups. Previously, he worked at the United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG). He holds a Master's degree from the Graduate School of International Studies at Korea University and a Master's in Social Entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Innovation at Seoul National University.
