SHIN Jae Hyeok is a professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Korea University and holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA. His teaching covers political institutions and Southeast Asian politics, and his research focuses on elections, political parties, legislative politics, and political and economic development in East and Southeast Asia. He also serves as Director of the Korea University ASEAN Center, which operates the CMK School of ASEAN Studies in partnership with the Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Foundation, and is CEO of Geopolitics Insight Co., Ltd., leading strategic research and policy consulting on key global regions.
