Biography
Dr. LEE Bo Youn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism Management at Cheju Halla University. She earned her Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from Pennsylvania State University, and her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida International University.
Her academic and research interests include consumer behavior and smart tourism. Dr. LEE has published extensively in SSCI-indexed journals, focusing on customer equity, self-service technology, and smart tourism in hospitality and tourism contexts.
She brings strong industry experience, having worked in global hospitality organizations such as MGM Grand hotel and Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas, and Days Inn hotel in Miami, as well as Professional Convention Organizer at CO&EX Korea.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. LEE actively contributes to professional associations and government advisory committees in tourism and regional development in Jeju. She is currently serving as Vice President of the Korea Academic Society of Tourism and Leisure and participates in various policy and evaluation committees.
