Prof. REN Lianping (Eve) is currently a Full Professor at Macao University of Tourism (UTM). She holds a Doctorate from the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a Master’s degree from the University of Warwick, Britain. Prof. REN holds various editorial positions including the Associate Editor of Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, a guest editor and editorial member for a number of other journals specializing in tourism and hospitality. She is an active researcher. Her research areas focus on tourist experience (including the use of technology), tour guiding, tourism strategies, cultural heritage generativity, hotel studies, and tourism education. She has published over 100 journal articles, 4 books, and over 20 book chapters and conference papers. Prof. REN frequently engages in consultancy work for local and regional government departments as well as the industry in the past decade, providing important reference for policy-makers and industrial practice adjustment.
